We specialise in LEV testing services, as well as offering a range of LEV-related services and maintenance such as filters, ducting, fans and airflow monitors.

LEV Testing

LEV systems can begin to underperform through regular use, so it is an HSE requirement that they are regularly tested. Regular testing not only ensures that your company complies with the HSE but more importantly because it protects your workforce/students from potentially deadly exposure to substances over time. Environments that involve fumes, dust, gases and mists from welding, painting, spraying, cutting, sanding, mixing and any other potentially harmful substances require regular LEV testing. LEV testing is even required in areas you may not think, such as bakeries (flour dust) and kitchen canopies.

Common LEV testing sites are fabrication and engineering environments, vehicle repair shops, MOT testing centres (extracting exhaust fumes), joinery shops, bakeries, welding, printing workshops and kitchens. If there is a need for extraction then there is a strong possibility that there is a need for LEV testing.

We also specialise in schools, colleges universities and pharmaceutical laboratories. In addition, we offer an out of hours service so that your students and staff do not get disturbed.

Filter Changes

In addition to LEV testing services, we offer filter changes for most extraction units. These might be laser cutters, mobile weld units, mobile fume cupboard filters, dust unit filters or kitchen extraction units. If you require any remedial works to your LEV system after the test or general servicing of your LEV system, please get in touch.

Airflow Monitor Supply & Installation

We supply and install airflow monitors to bring your system up to current regulations and to ensure the safety of your working environment.

Every time an LEV unit is switched on for use, the HSE states there must be a means of letting employees know that the LEV is safe to use. This means if the system is turned on in the morning and is turned off for break time, there must be a means of telling the user that the system is safe to use when it is turned back on. The easiest and best method to do this is to install airflow monitors on each extraction hood as per HSE recommendations and guidelines.
